Graf Brothers purchases its timber only from select cut timber stands found in the Eastern hardwood forests of North America, and we require that all logs are harvested in compliance with all state and local "best practices" method for their region. We also require that all of our lumber purchases be from companies that practice sustainable forestry in order to guarantee the continuation of our forests for future generations.

Graf Brothers Flooring realizes the need for a sustainable supply of forest products. From our ancestors in the black forest, to the present, the Graf family has understood the delicate balance between man and environment. This is why we are certified business and supporters of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC is an independent, non-profit organization with 450 registered members worldwide that guarantees against illegally harvested timber that is harvested to make way for agricultural plantations.
